Good Item Jun 12, 2009
By iConsumer The material seems heavy enough to last and is water repellant but moisture may seep through if rain water is left to form a puddle for a while. It is hard to tell because our set has high back chairs and rain water pools in the middle of the table and runs out the opening for the umbrella and the table top does get wet, but it is glass so no big deal. I will correct that by placing something under the cover to channel the rain water off to one side. The item description leaves out a few details. It has a nylon zipper to make removing / replacing the cover a little easier and six pairs of velco strips for securing to the chairs. The zipper seems a little light weight to me so care should be used with it. Almost a perfect fit for our 60 inch hexagonal table with 6 high back chairs, I just wish it came down the sides a couple of inches more but it does cover the chairs and keeps them clean and dry. The next larger size in this brand would have been too big and would probably lie on the deck. We did purchase the matching umbrella cover Patio Umbrella Covers, Size: 23.5" X75"H. Only a few winters will tell how well the material holds up to ice and snow but this should last longer than just plain vinyl covers. Vendor shipped and item was received in a reasonable amount of time.

Works Pretty Well Jun 05, 2010
By Pabert This thing does what it is supposed to do, but one of the straps that keeps it from blowing away broke. Other than that, it is a rugged, good piece of fabric.

"roadie"
Extremely pleased with the quality of this item, although very heavy and cumberson to put on. But it does do the job.

Well made Jan 23, 2010
By HubbieO A quality patio furniture cover. I'd give it 5 stars if there were more or better straps to keep it from blowing away, which it almost did recently during a recent storm.

High quality...but Oct 13, 2012
By good cook I have a 63 inch, hexagonal table and 6 tall back chairs, and this cover fits very nicely. However, there is a round hole in the middle of the cover with a velcro patch that is definitely not watertight!! Also I haven't yet found anything taller than the chair backs to keep the water from pooling on the table top. I can't figure why anyone would leave the umbrella up as then water would just run in on the table unimpeded. I'm thinking of hand stitching the patch all around and see if that works. The cover seems to be very high quality, but I wanted rain protection!!
