Cheaper alternative to heavier canopy covers Mar 12, 2010 By June "June"
This product is a cheaper alternative to heavier canopy covers. Mind well that this canopy is made of synthetic material and is much lighter. It looks good on the umbrella, it mounts easily and serves the purpose well. It also dries quickly after getting wet.

The package arrived promptly.

I had not set my sights very high, thinking that an inexpensive replacement canopy probably would not be a really good fit.
I was wrong! This fit my 9' umbrella frame of unknown origin just perfectly, and is quite well made, too.
So, nothing ventured, nothing gained. For the price, this is excellent . . . Well-sewn, I can only hope it will fit your old frame as smoothly as it does mine.

I was delighted to find such an affordable replacement canopy. The color was just right,delivery was prompt and the price was outstanding. It would have been nice to include information about the grommet diameter on the top of the umbrella in the description. The fit is good, except my umbrella frame is from another manufacturer and the grommet on top is of too small a diameter for the cap to fit. But it fits the ribs perfectly and works just fine without the cap on the top of the umbrella pole. I have been recommending this to others and will be back when I need another replacement. Hope by then you offer it with the larger sized grommet on top.

I took a risk on buying this as the umbrella I have has built in solar lights and a small solar panel at the top, so I was unsure whether this canopy would fit. However, as a replacement umbrella would be $120, I thought the gamble was worth it. The product arrived very quickly, and all I needed to do was carefully cut out the metal ring at the top of the canopy so it would fit secure correctly under the solar panel which screws in at the top and everything else fitted perfectly. My umbrella looks brand new again and I am very pleased with the product and the $90 saving I made through this purchase.
